This presentation is designed to equip attendees with the necessary skills to have equitable conversations about sensitive DEI topics, specifically around race. By attending, you will gain the confidence to engage in meaningful dialogues that foster connection and mutual respect. The CLE discussion will be led by Kwame Christian, best-selling author of How to Have Difficult Conversations About Race: Practical Tools for Necessary Change in the Workplace and Beyond (2022), business attorney, and the Founder and CEO of the American Negotiation Institute (ANI), a global consulting firm that specializes in negotiation and conflict resolution. Recognized as one of the world's top negotiation experts, Kwame first gained prominence after his viral TEDx Talk. As Kwame is frequently quoted, “The best things in life are on the other side of difficult conversations.” 


Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served, and the event will be followed by a meet and greet/book signing. This course was approved for 1.0 hour of MCLE credit, including 1.0 hour of Professional Responsibility Diversity and Inclusion MCLE credit.
