Have you ever considered writing a book? Join New York Times bestselling author and Illinois Appellate Court Judge David Ellis for this CLE where he will discuss writing his latest crime thriller, Look Closer, prosecuting Former Governor Rod Blagojevich, and his career as an Appellate Court Judge. 
 
David Ellis is the Edgar-winning bestseller of ten novels of suspense, as well as eight bestsellers co-authored with James Patterson. His latest thriller, Look Closer, was released in July 2022. In December 2014, Dave was sworn in as a Justice of the Illinois Appellate Court for the First District. Before taking the bench, Dave worked in private practice specializing in constitutional law and as Counsel to the Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives, where he served as the House Prosecutor who tried and convicted Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich in the impeachment trial before the Illinois Senate. Dave lives outside Chicago with his wife and three children.
